I walked into my art studio. A space created by an extra bedroom. For over a month I have been making, “Tiny Changes” to make this space work. A spacious room, great storage, great open spaces. The space is not working.

“True life is lived when tiny changes occur.”
Leo Tolstoy
Tiny changes? Shift the table here, move the eisel there, more light is needed, three lamps later. All these tiny changes. This is true life being lived as an artist.
Somedays it feels perfect. Somedays unsettled. Much like painting. Taking a piece and working and reworking. Some days pure joy. Other days a mental gridlock with tiny changes.
This quote by Tolstoy reminded me that this is life. Making the most of these tiny changes. Creating comfort & style in my studio, in my art, in my thoughts is a constant shifting and creating the kind of life I want.
“True life is lived when tiny changes occur.”
Leo Tolstoy
Live your best life with those tiny changes.
