Keeping At It

Getting this paint party started.

For the ones who know that keeping at it creates the fun beautiful pieces we paint I am keeping at it. I am encouraging you to do the same. Designing, drawing, erasing and looking for inspiration in my painting. This week all the elements of color and design came together.

That look when you think…
“I know what I am painting next.”

We spent an afternoon with friends eating good food and watching football. My friend asked me to help arrange her, “Glassy Baby” collection. All of her colors matched fabric I purchased to cover a chair.

“Glassy Baby” inspiring me to keep at it.

Keeping at it is about always seeing color, design and then the finished pieces in my head starting with a blank canvas. With colors from candles & fabric the idea hit me.

Look how colorful and pretty
Fabric for my chair.

I am working on an entire collection. Painting three canvases, painting a chair and painting a screen. (Room divider).

It’s an aggressive attempt at working out the colors and the design on so many pieces to coordinate. And I am keeping at it. It is not always easy. Why? Commitments in my day and the start and stops. I am on a break for a couple of days away from my studio. Writing and thinking that no matter how many starts and stops to just, “Keep At It” when I can.

So many things in our daily lives to inspire art you love. Reflecting, writing and painting. God designed my brain to design and create. Cheers to, “Keeping At It”.

Interior Designer, Consultant, Artist. Which is it they ask? All of the above. God has blessed me in ways that words cannot describe. Doing what I love and making a career out of it all. Starting with a beautiful designer showroom. Decorating homes and specializing in kid's spaces. Magazine covers and spreads, then show homes. Adding in business consulting. Working alongside my clients to develop a strategic plan to design and market their product or service in the correct markets. Then one day, after years of painting for my clients, a few gallies, my hobby business I decided in the second half of my life to bring Elizabeth Harris Art Gallery to life. I took my paintings to the streets and flipped my website into my "Art You Love" business. Do what you love and love what you do. Adding Elizabeth Harris Art Gallery and creating artful pieces for your home, office, business. An empty wall invites art you love by Elizabeth Harris Art Gallery. Your Dreams & Passions, My Experience & Help. Let's work together and build something beautiful in your home business, or on your walls.
