Hung Out To Buy

Hung Out To Buy is a new business to follow.  Why, it’s one I have been working on for a couple of years. Why is it always easier coming alongside a business, providing  the ideas to help move that business forward and feeling quite satisfied when the job is completed, but then getting stuck in  my head with my own business?

I have been working on a business concept for two years now. Working behind the scenes as time allowed and bouncing off ideas with anyone who might listen. Strangers on the bus, really I asked a woman on a bus and she smiled at this idea.  Now two years later,  putting a date on the calendar to begin work and now the work begins and I get stuck.  Those who are close to me have been part of my outward processing and see now that this is happening.  My stuck, is not doing nothing. I am doing, and busy doing, but my stuck is a result of so many ideas, and narrowing down the important ones to implement.

Taking about twenty years of working in the kid’s industry of marketing and designing and doing what I do in real time and making it happen online.  My calendar is cleared and I have given myself full access to my schedule.  Allowing some breaks for Christmas baking, and trips to wander in and out of stores.  For years people asking “when are you going to get back into this?”  Only to realize that it’s been brewing.  I love consulting with companies. Don’t get me wrong here.  Those passions still run deep. Anyone who is of the entrepreneurial mind knows we entrepreneurs  keep a few things always on the burners. Some sit on that back burner and simmer for a few years.

I am my biggest critic.  I have someone working very close with me.  The good news I am not going this alone and this past week has been so fun.  Trying to keep things simple and slow.  Self funding with no debt is my biggest goal. My first business I ever started was pretty much self funded.  Profits started turning within six months and those profits were able to grow the business into what I had hoped, and millions of dollars later God blessed that business.  I think it’s important, as a small start up company to  self fund if you can and for that reason it’s small, simple and I can manage the oopsies, which there will be those. I can manage the work without compromising the quality of care and work for the companies I work with as a consultant.

Currently a work in progress.  Join in the progress by visiting often and telling your friends and family.  If you know me, you know I love to process outward and make my network part of that process, so go and take a look and let me know your thoughts.

Next week, pictures will be edited and put up on the sight, so you can truly begin to see the essence of this new business venture. I hope you will begin to follow Hung Out To Buy, and watch our progress.  Happy Day to Everyone, Elizabeth
