I would Pay Nothing…

How much would you pay to go to the moon?

Hello Beautiful Moon

I would pay nothing to go to the moon . I have no desire to land on the moon. I am comfortable looking up at the moon with wonder.

I read,”Good Night Moon,” to all my children. At one time, with 5 kids, I had this precious book memorized.  My oldest son would crawl over to the bookcase, pull this book off the shelf and then climb up in my lap. Then we would go outside on a summer day and look for the moon.

My entire life I never believed that Neil Armstrong was the first person on the moon. I always thought the cameraman was the first person on the moon. My mom thought I was silly and asked to many questions.

Since that miraculous event of a man landing on the moon with minimal technology and the fact that technology has advanced as much as it has in the last 50 years, I’m still skeptical about anyone actually making it on the moon, jumping around, and growing potatoes. My stepson believes there was a moon landing and once there. “Why go back?”

I do believe that Elon Musk will be giving us a different perspective than those who claim to a first landed on the moon. I am not a skeptic to the umpth degree. I just know that in grade school the teachers had no believable answers to a moon landing.

All that being said I have no desire to go to the moon. Nor would I pay to go to the moon. What are your thoughts on this subject.

Have a wonderful day, Elizabeth.
