“Charisma” by Elizabeth Harris
I spent the afternoon walking through art galleries and furniture boutiques. As I looked through the designs and displays I felt like something was missing. I talked with four different clerks who said that clients are consistently asking for bold red hues. I asked why there were no options. And the answer was similar with all the clerks. Simply stating that most artists are not using such a bold color that can stand alone. This inspired me to paint something bold and red. When a person walks in the room and get’s noticed. It’s mostly because there is an element of, “Charisma”. This piece certainly can hang in a room and make a statement.
