Psalm 51:10-12
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
One of my favorites passages from the Bible. I memorized this in Sunday school. Songs written and sung. A daily reminder scribed on my heart. If you are not a Bible reader read this passage again. Imagine if we all just woke up each morning to these verses. What a better world we would be in.
Even without the knowledge of God or the Bible this passage helps to remind us of a new and renewed start each day.
The freedom and ability to wake up and start the day with a renewed sense of joy.
As an aspiring artist I often look to the Psalms for inspiration. I find my heart is renewed, inspired and joy continues. Pouring into each canvas and with each brush stroke.
I am grateful to have a book I love to pour into my heart and soul.
