I attended a webinar that talked about what artists should be doing to build their business. One thing the speaker spent much time on was creating a, “collection”. This sparked my interest. I have many collections. As a matter of fact I will take a color story and paint that story in many different ways. I have, in house, over 20 different collections or color story’s. Which basically means mixing paints in a serious of color and spending a week in those colors creating a number of paintings. Let’s talk about the, “Polka Collection”.

Look closely. Each precise polka dot has been carefully placed on the canvas. Each element of both balance and design have gone into , “Polka Pinka” and “Polka Blacka”. One is the colors of both paint and brush meeting the canvas. One is a digital enhancement to create a different look. Both add a lovely and exciting pop to the interiors of today’s fine art.

Each color series gives a very different feel and look to each room. The art of buying art starts with how the piece sets in to your emotional connection to your room. Each room very different yet stunning to the design and picture. This blog post makes me proud to see that any art I create can be adapted to the needs of my clients. You see something you love. You want. If you have to convince yourself that you love it then you really do not love it. I love, “The Polka Collection”. Adding in a wonderful blend of contemporary and color options.
