About this art piece…
I took my canvas out to the streets. Carrying it on my walk and trying to find a tree to draw that I could later paint.
When I was 19 I attended the Art Institute of Seattle on Elliot Bay. Often we were instructed to walk, from school, to Pike Place Market, and draw what you see. My trees on this day were more like etchings which inspired me to paint to that style. This is how it ended up.
I decided to design a visual series as “Walking Tree” is quite popular. Look for all the seasons of the “Walking Tree” collection.
