Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?
Balance in my life is taking time to do the things I enjoy. Some call it play. Some call it hobbies. Some call it lollygagging. Yes that is a word. Look it up.
I love reading, painting, walking, biking, playing golf, playing tennis, hiking and binge watching my favorite movies or TV shows. My kids have grown up learning to love breaks from the day to play.
When my kids were in school I would pick them up every day. Rain or shined, on many days we played after school. Going out to the stables to ride horses, a stop at a local park. A long walk to the grocery store was a long walk of playing in ditches, running ahead and helping carrying bags back home.
Creative play build our hearts, souls and mind. Playtime is important and now that kids are grown. My husband and I love playing together. We love golfing, long drives, watching grandkids, walk, working out together and dining. I still, out of a life of playtime habits play everyday doing the things I love. Happy playtime everyone.
